Hello. According to the rules of fire safety and the operation of propane-filled cylinders, gas is released into process equipment with a lower working pressure exclusively through a reducer that is designed for a particular type of gas and painted in the color specified by the rules.
Even the ultra-modern gas cylinders that are currently being developed are tested in laboratory conditions exclusively through a gearbox. Therefore, I give harmful advice here and, in fact, take responsibility, telling you how to connect the cylinder directly, I think it is inappropriate.
I recall the functions of this important device:
1. Promotes lowering and stabilization of the working pressure of the release. So at the outlet, the pressure of the cylinder is 150-250 atmospheres. Its gearbox varies, depending on the modification, from 1 to 70 atmospheres. It also helps to eliminate the burning of the power of the working device when the pressure decreases in the power itself (provided that a reverse gear is used up to 5-10%).
2. With a sharp increase in pressure, it can be operated as a relief valve.
3. Eliminates air ingress.
4. Increases the operational life and reliability of the connected process equipment.
It should be noted that the connection of such devices as the gas cylinders themselves is carried out exclusively by specialists with the appropriate qualifications. If you use devices that do not require a gearbox, connect the bottle according to the installation diagram specified by the manufacturer.
Be careful! Gas is not a joke. “Frog” is very inexpensive, it’s better to protect yourself and others.
