How to increase ventilation in the bathroom if there is no normal ventilation duct?
Available apartment in a multi-storey panel house with a separate bathroom. BUT in which the exit to the ventilation shaft of the house is only in the toilet, only the “exit hole” is made from the bathroom in the wall separating the toilet and the bath.
Already in many sources I read that one of the measures to combat fungus in the bathroom, except for treatments) is to regulate the ventilation of the unit.
Question. What can be optimally changed in this situation - I am looking for a simple but effective solution.
I really hope for help. Thanks 🙂

Good day, Natalia. Pretty common situation.
Seen in terms of simplicity and effectiveness:
1. It is necessary to increase the “conditional ventilation” hole between the bathroom and the toilet, thereby increasing the natural throughput between the two rooms. Cover with a ventilation grill on both sides, so do not worry if the worker does not do it very smoothly. The size of any under the sold grilles in your area.
2. I assume the opening of the ventilation duct in the toilet is 100 * 150 mm. In this case, it will need to be increased to a size of somewhere around 220 * 220 mm. and install a forced range hood.
Why is it necessary to increase? A fan, with the required power, has approximately the dimensions I have indicated. Small in size, respectively low power, will not solve the problem. I recommend reading this article on our website, in it you will find the rating of silent fans for bathrooms.
Good day, Natalia.
Before upgrading the ventilation, look at which door is installed in the bathroom - the usual one will seal the room, preventing the hood. Need a special door with ventilation inserts. A screenshot of the doors explaining the essence of the issue is attached.
