Is it possible to hang the hood a little away from the stove?

Good day! Tell me - if I hang the hood (fireplace, 650 cubic meters) in the recirculation mode, not exactly above the stove, but a little to the side - is this allowed? On the left is the stove, on the right is the microwave and oven.

Will the hood benefit from such a scheme? I would like the air to be cleaned throughout the room. The photo is attached - I want to hang the hood in the middle.

Good day, Andrey. If your question is whether it is allowed to install a recirculation hood in this way, then yes, it is allowed.

There will be benefits, but a number of problems will appear:

    1. During cooking, steam will rise to the junction of the hood and the cabinet. Condensation is unavoidable at the metal corner, which will quickly lead to the appearance of rust.
    2. Regardless of what material the kitchen is made of, constant exposure to steam will lead to rapid loss of its original appearance. In addition to losing geometry, fat accumulation is guaranteed in a short time.

In the schematic drawing, the area marked in red will always be the accumulation of condensate and fat. I mean that maybe your calculation is based on power. Most likely the model is endowed with one motor and will not be able to retract all the rising steam during installation a little to the side.

More effective and, most importantly, trouble-free work will be precisely in the installation strictly above the stove. You have a huge advantage of recirculation hoods - the lack of binding to the ventilation duct. Use it by placing the stove in a convenient place. Furniture makers have no difference in making different sizes of kitchens.

I also recommend that you read the article https://engineer.techinfus.com/en/vent/oborud/vytyazhka-s-recirkulyaciej.html - you will get useful information from it.
