      The option with mounting foam has only one plus - it blew out and it’s ready, a matter of a couple of minutes. But you are rightly worried about the consequences, and they will be. Polyurethane foam in water are microorganisms. The foam will not dry out and there will be mucus, and maybe algae. If you blow out the foam not gently, you can create obstacles to the normal operation of the fittings. To replace any parts in the future, you will need to completely clear the tank of foam. One plus a bunch of flaws.

      It is better to use penofol for insulation, a double tank is also an excellent solution. As for penofol and other heaters, here on the website and on YouTube many people wrap only the walls, but do not put the insulation on the bottom of the tank. I consider this a mistake, since in this case condensation will form at the bottom. We'll have to tinker with cutouts for the reinforcement, but this must be done.
