Automatic equipment in the house is switched off when using the Aquarius pump
Hello. There was a problem in the operation of the Aquarius pump in a private house. I have a well with a depth of 30 m, a water mirror at a depth of 12-15 m. Water from the pump enters the house and to the infield for irrigation. After working during the year, the following was revealed: water for irrigation to the site flows normally when opening and closing the tap there are no problems.
When water enters the house, when opening and closing taps, the automatics turn off and you have to switch the automatics. But the next time you open and close the taps in the house, the automation switches off again.
In the fall, I was recommended to reduce the pressure of automation to a minimum. During the winter, the problem is gone. But now she has appeared again. The pump is operating normally at the site, but there is a suspicion that it is not getting pressure in the line.
At the exit of water from the pipe it is freely blocked by a finger without much effort. In the house again, when opening and closing the tap, the automatic switch-on of the pump is turned off. How to solve this problem? Thanks in advance for your advice.
Good afternoon, Valentine.
You have not given the brand of pump, which reduces the answer to general reasoning. Water costs for irrigation, for household needs are also absent.
Judging by the passport for the pump - found on the network - the lineup contains nine models that differ in power parameters. A thermal relay, respected by the German company Thermik, is integrated into the pump winding, which turns off the electric motor when the pump goes beyond critical parameters. The latter are presented on the graph taken from the pump passport (photo at the end of the text). The exit of parameters from the gray zone of the “left-right” graph is equally dangerous for the pump.
Knowing the flow rate of water during irrigation, the additional flow rate associated with the consumption of water in the house, you can detect the excess parameters shown by the graph. The minimum flow should not be less than 360 l / h - otherwise the engine will overheat and turn off by protection.
Among other causes of shutdown may be non-compliance with the recommended parameters of the pressure pipe - the passport warns: at least 1 inch. Check it out.
The socket for connecting the pump must be 16-ampere - not less, the cross section of the copper power supply wiring - at least 1.5 square millimeters.
