The Agidel pump stopped working properly, what is the reason?

Hello. Do not rush to change the pump, perhaps it’s really possible to get by with “little blood”, but now we’ll deal with possible causes. Violations in the pump can be in the following cases:

1. When the performance of your Agidel exceeds the debit of hydrobalance. That is, the aquifer does not have time to fill up as it is pumped out by a pump or a natural decrease in the water level in the aquifer. In general, an “anti-dry move” should work if it is installed, but it can fail, they often complain about it, although its installation for reinsurance is still necessary. Usually this happens during a drought, when the place to install the hydraulic structure is incorrectly selected, the equipment is incorrectly installed, or the well bottom is clogged, as is often the case on clay soils.

2. Voltage drops. In these cases, measurements are taken and a stabilizer is installed.

3. Clogging of the piping system, filter, valves. As a solution, rinse all required parts.

4. Damage to the pipeline or its disconnection. This problem, it seems to me, is yours. Very often problems arise with the supply hose, especially if it is of poor quality or is not connected carefully. Correcting the situation is not difficult:

- Be sure to disconnect the equipment from the power supply;
- dismantle the hose;
- replace it with a new one with suitable characteristics.

5. Failure of the gland, that is, the seal installed on the engine shaft to the attachment point of the water pump. To find out that a breakdown of this type has occurred, it is possible by oozing water from drainage. To eliminate the malfunction, it is necessary to disassemble the pump, which should also be done by a specialist, it is not tricky to disassemble, but assembling back is problematic.

I advise you to inspect the hose, look for leaks, measure voltage. To add to us whether there were any other oddities in the pump operation, for example:

- a strange sound from the tap as with a suction;
- dirty water with impurities;
- strange sounds, directly from the equipment, may be a hoarse or intermittent hum.

Also write down how much equipment is in operation, a specific model of equipment, the depth of water supply and the type of soil, whether your “dry run” is working, whether geo-surveys have been carried out and all the rules for installing this type of pump have been followed.

Naturally, you should not try to force the pump to work under these conditions, it will deteriorate, so operation should be stopped until the malfunction is corrected. Also, I recommend that you call the wizard immediately. You should call him, one way or another - to correct a malfunction or replace a pump. If you make the pump work, you can’t avoid replacing it in any case, and it may be possible to really fix something.
