The pressure drop after tapping into the water supply, what should I do?
Need some advice. We have a dead end system. Made an insert on the surface water supply, while one pump normally pulled. They made another branch - the pressure fell. They launched the second pump, but nothing has changed. Why? And what to do?

Good afternoon! Unfortunately, you did not specify the characteristics of the water supply system, pumps and the place of their installation.
If the power of the pumps is selected correctly and they are mounted in the right places, then we can assume that when the water was started after reconstruction, the place of the inset in the metal pipes was clogged with pieces of rust. This often happens in stub systems. You can clean the pipe using a cable.
The pressure in plastic pipes is also often reduced due to a violation of the soldering technology. In this case, the pipe diameter decreases and its throughput decreases accordingly.
Another reason: if you have mud filters, then it is possible that they are dirty. The problem in this case will be solved by cleaning or completely replacing the filters.
