The choice of a pump up to 12,000₽ for working with a hydraulic accumulator
Hello! I really need professional advice.
I’m looking for a version of a pump that is not very powerful, as compact as possible and as quiet as possible for working with a hydraulic accumulator (already purchased) to increase pressure in a centralized water supply system by 1-2 atm in a private house. Inlet pressure 2.4 atm. If necessary, I can additionally install automation on the pump.
Two problems:
- Water is supplied centrally to the pipeline directly from an open source in the form of industrial water;
- Limited space in the house.
The water is extremely unclean, therefore, mechanical cleaning filters are installed in the form of ordinary polypropylene and a hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane. The performance of the UV membrane is low and the accumulator is not filled quickly and not in the proper volume. He also performs the function of a water reservoir. The accumulator itself is installed under the floor, as there is no free space.
Which pump (brand, series, name) is better to use to create additional pressure? Something below the average power of 100-250 watts., It is possible with the adjustment of the pump speed. Budget 10000-12000 p. Grundfos SCALA2 did not fit (too big and expensive). Is it possible in this case to use a surface drainage pump, which is quite uncomplicated? Like Willo, but I do not know what to take.
Good afternoon, Dmitry.
A lot of incomprehensible and contradictory in your question. I’ll try to give you the most detailed answer.
1. Install the pump as indicated in the diagram immediately from the central pipe. Why? Suppose, if there is still home ownership after you, then when you turn on the pump, their pressure will drop. This is, of course, connected with your selection of water from the central water supply. If this connection is detected, the water supply channel will block you water and seal the meter until the pump is removed.
From your words, a low-performance ultrafiltration hollow fiber membrane filter is installed. This filter has a throughput, by pumping pressure in the system you will not increase it, but only lead to a faster failure.
The accumulator is not filled in the proper amount. Firstly, it is not completely filled.The proper volume may not be filled only due to improper installation and adjustment.
2. There are so-called boost pressure pumps that can be used in the house after the accumulator. Three modes of operation are standard, they are quite enough for comfortable use of water. They have electricity consumption, just in the range you specify from 100 to 250 watts.
I think it will also be useful for you to familiarize yourself with the two articles posted on our website - about pressure boosting pumps and about the adjustment of the pumping station.
