Question on the gas column “ARISTON NEXT EVO SFT 11 NG EXP”. I know that the hood in this model works with a coaxial pipe. But this can only be done in a private house. I need to install it in the apartment - in the usual in Khrushchev, where the usual exhaust hood (chimney). Even in new buildings, too, an ordinary exhaust hood (chimney)!

So I have a question: if you install this column and connect the inner pipe to the exhaust (chimney) with a metal outlet (such as “ARISTON 502718”, well, of course, according to the diameter = 60 mm.), And do not connect the external pipe anywhere, the system will draw air from the kitchen? Therefore, for the installation of the column, you must request permission from the city gas distribution office. But the gasmen most likely will not give permission for the option you are offering, since the chimney in a house built in the 50s or 60s will not be able to cope with the exhaust of the gases generated during the operation of the column. There are many reasons: the vagaries of weather, cracks in the ventilation units, redevelopment of apartments located above or below, made with damage to the ventilation shaft. Another reason for the ban will be the lack of a steady flow of air into the kitchen.
Nevertheless, a column in your apartment can be installed. To do this, you need to punch a hole with a diameter of 100 mm in the wall facing the street and connect a coaxial pipe to this hole.
