Such situation. We have 3 houses of 70 apartments. Sewerage is discharged into the sump, then pumped into the city sewer. Some irresponsible residents lower their wet wipes into the sewers - because of this, the pump becomes clogged. It is periodically cleaned, it also periodically burns down and is replaced with a new one.
Is there any reasonable filtering method? Because there, as far as I know, they put some kind of lattice, but they somehow helped a little.

Hello. The problem is common, with a conversation with the residents, the constant collection of money for repairs does not help. Inconscientious citizens continue to throw anything in the sewer.
Here you need a simple but practical working solution. In this case, I can recommend installing a mechanical filter on the sewer pipe, which will be located in front of the pump. Thus, up to 90% of bulky garbage will be collected. As an additional solution, I can still recommend installing a coarse filter after a mechanical filter.
There is also a complete solution in the form of bag filters for sewage. What will be more practical and more profitable to put on your sewer station is up to you.
