Hello. I'm interested in a few questions, maybe someone knows.

The first is that the pipe for forced discharge in the septic tank is located at an angle upwards so that the remaining liquid after the Jilex pump is turned off flows back. Why is this needed?

The second - the septic tank "Unilos Astra" has a LED in the control unit, which should light up brightly only when the emergency float emerges, that is, this already implies its presence in the station. Why am I forced to put a float to organize an alarm? Each company has its own approach to this issue?

And the last - can I use a PDO-N501-43 (PDU-R501-85) or a LEO float switch as a water level sensor?

1. The forced drain pipe is located at an angle upwards so that it does not “tear” in the winter. All fluid drains back, leaving it empty. Inside the septic tank, bacterial activity occurs, which leads to maintaining the temperature at about + 40 ° С.

2. Unilos Astra is fully automated and equipped with a control unit. In the event of an accident (pipes clogged, outlet pipe for treated effluents, excessive simultaneous discharge to the receiving chamber), a critical rise in the water level is possible. This situation leads to overflow at the installation site of the control unit. Without an alarm, a short circuit and a complete failure of the sewage system of your home will occur. For clarification, look at Figure 1, which I attached to the answer.
The sensor you are writing about is visually accessible only when the cover is lifted. It is impossible to predict at what point it is necessary to check. The signal lamp is installed for convenience most often on the lid of the septic tank itself. Figure 2 - view of the alarm and Figure 3 - its view when installed with the option on the hatch. It is possible to output a signal lamp to a pole or directly to the house according to your desire. There are more modern models with a GPS transmitter, this configuration sends a signal to a mobile phone.
A distinctive feature of Astra septic tanks is an electromagnetic valve that switches operating modes. It is he who provides a high level of cleaning up to 98% and controls the system of work. At the same time, it is the weakest point.It is sensitive to power surges, therefore, it is mandatory to install a voltage stabilizer.
Please note that the manufacturer in the warranty card indicates the need for a stabilizer. In the event of its absence, the warranty does not apply.
If the solenoid valve fails, the system completely stops working. In case of power outages, it is better to worry about an uninterruptible power supply in advance.
