What glue is better to use when installing an acrylic liner in a cast-iron bath?
Hello Irina! The following adhesives are suitable for gluing an acrylic liner:
1) two-component foam;
2) glue “liquid nails”.
Both options should be labeled “moisture resistant,” “for bathrooms,” or something similar.
Please note that the bonding quality depends more on the surface preparation than on the glue used. The surface of the bath must be cleaned, degreased and dried. It is better to apply foam or liquid nails with a special gun. This will ensure uniformity of the layer. Read more about installing an acrylic liner in this article.
