Why were new specifications required when replacing a heating boiler?

Hello. Help to understand the situation. We are residents of the Crimea and live in a private house, which was gasified in the 80s (there was still the USSR). Then they lived in Ukraine ... now they have returned to the Russian Federation.

In 2013, a new project was made - one stove was added and the heating boiler and gas water heater (column) were replaced with a 2-circuit boiler. All this is not without insertion into the gas pipeline (main, i.e. internal wiring is made). Question - WHAT CHANGED AND WHY NEED A NEW TU? And why is TU limited to a certain time?

    Good day, Sergey.

    One of the points of TU is the volume of gas supplied to the subscriber, that is, to you. When submitting documents, list all gas equipment and its capacity.

    According to the description, one gas stove was added (instead of one it became two), apparently the boiler capacity also changed (instead of single-circuit it is now double-circuit), and, accordingly, the volume of gas consumed changed.

    The gas distribution company is obliged to provide the necessary energy pressure in the pipes. Based on the data received, it reconstructs the gas distribution station (gas distribution station), if necessary. I note that in case of exceeding the load, you can get a refusal to receive a technical condition. In case of disagreement with the decision, you have the right to challenge the executive branch in the technical supervision.

    It should be taken into account in addition the maximum gas flow per hour. If it exceeds 5 m3 / hour, the planned daily energy supply is additionally supplied. The time limit is associated with just the possible connection / change of loads on your GDS. This procedure and existing restrictions are associated with the goal of a high-quality and uninterrupted gas supply to the population.

    Hello. Alex, excuse me, I’ll correct you. First, the technical specifications are made, then the project, then coordination and insertion into the gas pipeline, according to the project with commissioning. TU could not be approved by a person without a project, in theory, and certainly could not be allowed to cut into a gas pipeline. If I’m wrong, correct me, I just realized that the project was done in 2013, that is, back in Ukraine, and I vaguely swim in the documentation of a neighboring state, but judging by the fact that I read, in principle, there are no differences with the Russian Federation . Here the question is not about installing a new stove, but judging by the title, the boiler is changing.

    A list of technical conditions is necessary in this case to determine the installation location, gas supply circuit, equipment capacity, hourly consumption of a resource, and so on.

    At the same time, if it turns out that, in principle, the equipment only changes to the same, a new project is not required to be drawn up and even no new technical specifications are needed. The usual coordination is necessary in gorgaz.

    Some argue that even coordination does not need to be carried out with the same type of system, but this is not entirely true. For example, gas workers came to me for maintenance and demanded to document a new similar boiler in gorgaz. The launch and admission was carried out by a specialist from their service, so we avoided a fine, but they did not fix documents for new equipment, so we had to do it. It is better, of course, to hold this event in advance and find out the features.

    So, on the issue. If you change the type of boiler and the configuration of the heating equipment, the requirements for drawing up a new technical specification are logical, especially if there was a replacement of the owner of the gas distribution network.

    Here is what this document usually contains:

    a) maximum load (hourly gas flow);
    b) the timing of connection (technological connection) of capital construction facilities to gas distribution networks;
    c) the duration of the technical conditions;
    d) the name of the gas distribution network object to be connected if technical specifications are provided for connecting the gas distribution network object to another gas distribution network;
    e) a characteristic of the existing gas distribution network at the point of connection if technical specifications are provided for connecting the gas distribution network facility to another gas distribution network.
