Where can I get the coaxial chimney installation guidelines?
Hello. I am offered to put a coaxial chimney (horizontal) for a gas boiler (1st floor of a two-story house with an attic). According to the norms (SP), for a chimney you need 500 mm above the roof, nowhere in the standards have I found an exception for coaxial chimneys.
Is there a document that can be presented to firefighters and gas workers? Thank.

Hello.
Regarding the exact standards and SNiP - you need to turn to the specialists who will draft the project taking into account all existing rules. Plus, the same gas workers can get advice.
On SNiP I can give a simple diagram for an example.
Good afternoon. There is a normative document for coaxial chimneys, although it is still floating, recommended, but nevertheless, it exists and is located in the joint venture, which you probably already studied more than once, just did not pay attention to the applications.
SP 42-101-2003 "General provisions for the design and construction of gas distribution systems from metal and polyethylene pipes" - here it is, this is a tricky document, we look at Appendix "G".
In paragraph D.20 we read that the withdrawal of combustion products through external walls without a vertical channel is allowed if there is a sealed combustion chamber and a device for the forced removal of this product into the atmosphere.
D.21 - here we are told that it is imperative to follow the instructions for installing the gas-using equipment of the enterprise that manufactured the structure (naturally, having all the certificates), however, attention! Observing the following mandatory standards:
“ - 2.0 m from the ground level;
- 0.5 m horizontally to windows, doors and open vents (grilles);
- 0.5 m above the upper edge of windows, doors and ventilation grilles;
- 1.0 m vertically to windows when placing holes under them.
The indicated distances do not apply to window openings filled with glass blocks. Placement of channel openings on the facade of buildings under the ventilation grill is not allowed. The smallest distance between the two channel openings on the building facade should be taken at least 1.0 m horizontally and 2.0 m vertically.When placing the smoke channel under a canopy, balconies and cornices of the roof of buildings, the channel should go beyond the circle described by the radius R (Figure D.2).
