Good day! Please tell me what to buy an electric boiler for heating a house 90 m2. To be not very expensive, economical and with smart electronics?

And another question: what radiators to get for an electric boiler? Aluminum or bimetal? Thank you

To calculate the boiler power, an average value of 100 W per 1 m2 is usually taken. Accordingly, a boiler with a capacity of 9 kW is suitable for your area. Usually the owners themselves know whether their house is “warm” or “cold,” and on this basis, you can slightly adjust the power. However, do not be afraid to take a boiler with a small margin of power - it does not work constantly. Automation turns it on and off, depending on the set room temperature. So the more powerful will simply heat the room faster, and be in the on state less time.

The simplest and most reliable electric boilers are electric heaters. You should not buy advertising for “innovative nano-technologies” and purchase induction and electrode devices. Efficiency of heating elements is 93-98%, so it will not work to save due to even greater energy efficiency. But there will definitely be more problems with these innovations (especially when there is a need for maintenance and repair).

When choosing, consider the connection diagram of the heating elements. The cheapest boilers use magnetic starters. They are reliable and simple, but “click” quite loudly. Given the fact that the control unit is located, as a rule, in a metal case, this option is hardly optimal for a residential building. Power relays are much quieter. Perhaps this is the best option for a small house.

Electronic switching is absolutely silent, but such devices are more expensive, more difficult to maintain and, in my opinion, less reliable. Electronics and automation in general should not get too carried away - with your small power, tangible savings this will not give. A simple control of the air temperature in the room is enough.

Any radiators are suitable, there is no fundamental difference for an autonomous system. Just look at the appearance, price and manufacturer's warranties. The only thing is not to put aluminum radiators with steel pipes. Here either polypropylene / metal and aluminum, or steel pipes and cast iron radiators.
