Is it necessary to install a coaxial chimney for a boiler with an open combustion chamber?
Greetings! We change a gas boiler with an open combustion chamber for the same, slightly larger power. Would it be wise to install a coaxial chimney? The old external chimney (exhaust pipe) is in working condition. And anyway, do they put a coaxial chimney on a boiler with an open combustion chamber? Thanks for answers.

Good afternoon, Tatyana. The coaxial chimney is not mounted on an open combustion chamber. If the old outdoor chimney is fully operational, I don’t see any reason to change anything.
In general, I advise you to install a boiler with a closed chamber, these models are safer. Before buying, you may be interested to familiarize yourself with this article.
